Ruffed Grouse and Waterfowl

Starting September 1, Teton Valley Lodge offers some of the finest Ruffed Grouse hunting in the world. Your guide and a sharp English Setter will head up the mountain canyons surrounding the Lodge for what is arguably the most challenging shooting in the sport of bird hunting. Grouse are plentiful in the classic cover of the Big Hole Mountains, flushing 20-30 birds a day is common, but there are special days when many more can be taken. The fall colors are magnificent and the fresh mountain air is an experience in itself. We recommend 20 gauge shotguns and a #8 light load for all gauges. when you have shot your limit or just want to move on to your next passion make a short drive back to the Lodge and take a cast at some cruising monster trout on the Teton River.

duck huntingWe also have outstanding duck hunting. The opener is the first or second Saturday of October. With 10 private blinds located on the Teton River and adjoining sloughs we offer a tremendous water-foul opportunity.

Waders and camo are a must. After the morning shoot you may choose to go fishing or grouse hunting and then back out for an evening duck shoot. We ar here to provide you with a first class experience full of great memories. Let us know what you would like to do and we will do it.
